Cleanroom technology

  • 200 m² cleanroom area in class ISO 6 according to DIN EN ISO 14644

  • The particle concentration in the air is max. 293 particles per m³ with a diameter of ≥ 5 µm.

  • Particle filtration via HEPA/ULPA filters

  • Filtration of organic and inorganic substances via activated carbon filtration

  • Cleanrooms designed to be silicone-free and low-outgassing

  • Monitoring via TENAX measurements

  • Staggered overpressure levels of cleanrooms, airlocks and grey areas

Handling and assembly

  • Cleanroom assembly stations

    • ISO 6 cleanroom with local ISO 5 flowbox workstations

    • 35,200 particles/m3 at ≥0.5

    • ORK measurements to determine surface particle contamination on cleaned parts

    • Nitrogen rinsing cabinets for storing cleaned parts, drying parts after gluing processes, etc.

  • Laminar flow workstations

    • Locally higher purity class (ISO 5)

    • Directed, low-turbulence airflow

    • Airflow via HEPA filter

  • N₂ Purge Cabinet / Nitrogen Drying Cabinets

    • Protection against molecular contamination

    • Oxidation protection

    • Extremely low humidity

  • Vacuum chamber welding machine with nitrogen purging

    • Evacuating the air from the bags

    • Purge with nitrogen

    • Reduction of oxygen and moisture

Parts cleaning

  • Pre-cleaning

    • 10 ultrasonic cleaning baths with usable dimensions up to 2000x1500x1800 mm and different frequency ranges as well as spray cleaning

  • Fine cleaning

    • 3 spray cleaning systems for wet chemical cleaning with airlock for transfer to the cleanroom

  • Automated cleaning process line with 8 ultrasonic baths, hot air and vacuum drying chamber

    • Control and monitoring of all baths, including temperature, refractometer reading, pH value, conductivity, LPC (liquid particle value) and TOC (total organic carbon).

    • System compliant with cleanroom standards, completely under filtered laminar flow of class ISO 6 according to DIN EN ISO 14644

      • Liquid particle count (LPC) and total organic carbon (TOC) below 80 ppb (parts per billion)
